The Oklahoma Mineral and Gem Society (OMGS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of the earth sciences, particularly in the areas of:
Mineralogy
Geology
Paleontology
Lapidary arts (cutting and polishing stones)
Jewelry making
The Annual Show provides educational opportunities for school children, scouts, and the general public. Demonstrations will show how to identify rocks through their fluorescence properties and their cycle of change
A Host of 40 vendors will exhibit and sell specimens, demonstrate skills, and connect enthusiasts.
OMGS encourages hobbyists to connect, learn, and share their passion for the natural beauty of minerals and gems.
